A Quite Weekend...

Well as quite as it gets I guess! This week has been pretty interesting and the weekend ended up being par for the course.

I got to have 2 doctors appointments this week. One just to Patient First for an Ear infection and one later in the week to see my OBGYN Doctor. The Ultra sound I was having done was to see how large the Cyst that I had was and If it would need to be surgically removed. Well instead of one large one she found many small ones, basically just a confirmation to my Doctors diagnoses of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS as is commonly called. So no surgery at least so that's a great praise!

Later in the week though Brandon started catching a cold. Poor Baby! He rarely gets sick and when he does... well hes usually only down and out for a few short hours. Friday was the day. A Grand total of 14 hours of sleep later (from 3pm Friday to 9am Saturday) plus most of Saturday on the Couch did the Trick (along with a large consumption of OJ, Vitamin C and Tylenol) But My 1pm he was ready to accomplish something, so he tackled the wiring mystery of our living room. (why would anyone want or need 3 switches that control 1 outlet?) Well its more complicated then Brandon thought (our house was very oddly wired it seems) And soon decided that another day would be better. Some how though our Cable box died... so its a good thing we had plans that night.

We started Christmas early with the www.trans-siberian.com. This was Brandon's 4th time going and my 2nd and we love it! It was a great way to kick things off this year! And we plan on going whenever we can in the the years to come!

Hope you all are doing well.

Love, Misty

October is Almost gone already? When did that happen?

I cant believe that this month is almost over! Everything from the beginning of the month seems like it was Forever and a day ago but I guess not. We are still waiting on word on if our kitchen and duct damage really was but I am quite thankful for a dishwasher that works and that does not leak anything!

Other going on include us attending a wedding for a good old friend of mine from high school Sarah Lamotte, she got Married on 10/11 to her very own "Top Gun fighter pilot". They were such a happy couple and it was so good to see her and also a bunch of my old high school Girlfriends. Sarah and her husband Zack are now moving to Pensacola Fl for his continued Training, I will miss her so at Christmas.

This past weekend we got to Drive even further out into 'the country' to visit with our Friends at the Minters in honor of their 11th anniversary. It was a good time with good friends and good food and basically letting us run loose in her Candle kitchen. We ended the night with the group having a fall bonfire and letting the men play with Fire while all the women suffered Smoke attacks! But it was a great time. The Minters are a great family and I love getting to spend time around them and their kids.

Other then that not to to much has been happening that's eventful. I've been helping my BFF Gina turn over a new page in her life, Brandon's been gearing up for more work and we've both barely had time to see each other, let alone do anything of interest. Maybe next month right?

Oh before I go a quick Congrads to Mark and Candy on the Birth of Little Abigail Elizabeth Robinson, born today and weighing in at 7lbs and 10 onces! You guys are going to make Great Parents!

Pulling the Thread

This week feels like I've been pulling the thread that unravels the sweater.

It all started back in January though, New years Day actually when our Old dishwasher died on us. We eventually had to replace it and with the new one, a new problem had occurred. Our Jet Dry dispenser tended to leak all the time. Now, why I didn't do anything about this issue over the 6 months that I was working at home is a mystery to me. But over the course of 2 8-5 at home appointments I got the Leak fixed.

Or so we thought...

Monday I had started the dish washer before work and let it run, when i got home that night I failed to notice that apparently it had leaked all over the kitchen floor ( I was hurrying to try and finish dinner so i missed all the signs. And then later in the week When i ran it while I was home we got the nasty surprise that now our WHOLE DISH WASHER WAS LEAKING! ALL OVER OUR KITCHEN FLOOR!

And of course then we called the insurance company and the scent their Restoration specialist over and now we get to share our kitchen with a big industrial fan, and another one under the house.

And lucky me gets to miss more work thanks to the Dishwasher.

But who knows, maybe i'll be able to get a new kitchen floor out of this huh?

Our "Anniversary"

This past Monday Brandon and I sort of past one of those odd Anniversary days. Our "First Date" took place at Applebee's on Hull Street on September 29th, 2002. 6 years ago! Can you believe that!?! We where respectively 22 and 18, and I was quite nervous, as;

1. I had never dated ANYONE older then me, let alone by 4 and 1/2 years!
2. I really liked him.

To be honest we really cant say that that date went all that well or that we "instantly clicked" mainly probably due to the fact that I was quite nervous and all i could do is ask questions and Respond "Oh. That's cool." But regardless I still really was excited that this guy had asked me out. I was on cloud nine when i got home that night thinking about it.

Eventually thought he did ask me out again and I found that it was much easier talking to him with mutual Friends and we began to be more comfortable around each other. We did end up for "Dating" for about 2 months and then kind of just stopped getting together, though we did still talk and hang out on occasions. So after I was in college we did start talking and eventually started dating again and have been together ever since.

September's Happenings

Well here we are at the end of September already... where has this month gone? As you can tell getting into this Blogging thing has been harder then i imagined. Besides that the only eventful thing that has happened in our lives is me turning another year older. And I've been waiting for Brandon to write down his thoughts on why 24 is so much better then 23. All I remember is that its Even and its a prime number. But I'm settling into my new age well i think. I did have a great Birthday due to some planning that Brandon and my Long time Best Friend Gina did for us to have some hang out time. It was so wonderful! I really miss Gina and any time that i get to spend with her!

As for our plans this Autum they are few and far between, but somehow the weeks and weekends keep getting full and we just keep running around kind of Crazy.

Hope to have more to say soon!
