October is Almost gone already? When did that happen?

I cant believe that this month is almost over! Everything from the beginning of the month seems like it was Forever and a day ago but I guess not. We are still waiting on word on if our kitchen and duct damage really was but I am quite thankful for a dishwasher that works and that does not leak anything!

Other going on include us attending a wedding for a good old friend of mine from high school Sarah Lamotte, she got Married on 10/11 to her very own "Top Gun fighter pilot". They were such a happy couple and it was so good to see her and also a bunch of my old high school Girlfriends. Sarah and her husband Zack are now moving to Pensacola Fl for his continued Training, I will miss her so at Christmas.

This past weekend we got to Drive even further out into 'the country' to visit with our Friends at the Minters in honor of their 11th anniversary. It was a good time with good friends and good food and basically letting us run loose in her Candle kitchen. We ended the night with the group having a fall bonfire and letting the men play with Fire while all the women suffered Smoke attacks! But it was a great time. The Minters are a great family and I love getting to spend time around them and their kids.

Other then that not to to much has been happening that's eventful. I've been helping my BFF Gina turn over a new page in her life, Brandon's been gearing up for more work and we've both barely had time to see each other, let alone do anything of interest. Maybe next month right?

Oh before I go a quick Congrads to Mark and Candy on the Birth of Little Abigail Elizabeth Robinson, born today and weighing in at 7lbs and 10 onces! You guys are going to make Great Parents!

Pulling the Thread

This week feels like I've been pulling the thread that unravels the sweater.

It all started back in January though, New years Day actually when our Old dishwasher died on us. We eventually had to replace it and with the new one, a new problem had occurred. Our Jet Dry dispenser tended to leak all the time. Now, why I didn't do anything about this issue over the 6 months that I was working at home is a mystery to me. But over the course of 2 8-5 at home appointments I got the Leak fixed.

Or so we thought...

Monday I had started the dish washer before work and let it run, when i got home that night I failed to notice that apparently it had leaked all over the kitchen floor ( I was hurrying to try and finish dinner so i missed all the signs. And then later in the week When i ran it while I was home we got the nasty surprise that now our WHOLE DISH WASHER WAS LEAKING! ALL OVER OUR KITCHEN FLOOR!

And of course then we called the insurance company and the scent their Restoration specialist over and now we get to share our kitchen with a big industrial fan, and another one under the house.

And lucky me gets to miss more work thanks to the Dishwasher.

But who knows, maybe i'll be able to get a new kitchen floor out of this huh?

Our "Anniversary"

This past Monday Brandon and I sort of past one of those odd Anniversary days. Our "First Date" took place at Applebee's on Hull Street on September 29th, 2002. 6 years ago! Can you believe that!?! We where respectively 22 and 18, and I was quite nervous, as;

1. I had never dated ANYONE older then me, let alone by 4 and 1/2 years!
2. I really liked him.

To be honest we really cant say that that date went all that well or that we "instantly clicked" mainly probably due to the fact that I was quite nervous and all i could do is ask questions and Respond "Oh. That's cool." But regardless I still really was excited that this guy had asked me out. I was on cloud nine when i got home that night thinking about it.

Eventually thought he did ask me out again and I found that it was much easier talking to him with mutual Friends and we began to be more comfortable around each other. We did end up for "Dating" for about 2 months and then kind of just stopped getting together, though we did still talk and hang out on occasions. So after I was in college we did start talking and eventually started dating again and have been together ever since.
